Tofu and Mushrom in Teochew

Bahan

  • silken tofu
  • 5 hioko mushrooms, boil, thinly slice
  • 3 tbsp Happy Soya Oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 shallots, minced
  • 1 cm of ginger, minced
  • 3 red chili, slice in diagonal
  • 1 tbsp of Medan Teochew
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp ang ciu
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch flour
  • 125 ml chicken broth
  • ½ tsp pepper powder

Cara Masak

  1. Put tofu and mushrooms on a heat resistant dish. Steam for 10 minutes inside a pre-heated boiler until it’s done. Put out the fire and leave the tofu inside to keep it warm.
  2. Heat Happy Soya Oil, sauté shallots, garlic, ginger and red chili until it’s fragrant.
  3. Add Teochew and sauce. Stir evenly and lift.
  4. Pour the sauce on top of the tofu, served.
